TriggerMarketing uses MLS, company programs, and data feeds to get your properties into your account. Sometimes you may not be able to find your property or you’re waiting on one of them. You also may be waiting for the email that encourages you to order postcards. There are some reasons why you may be waiting!
Note: we have custom settings for different company programs. If you don’t see a button or a feature mentioned in this article, it may be because of one of these settings.
Here are a few common reasons why you may not see your property in your account (or get the property email):
- Timing: We get properties through many different data feeds every night. Sometimes it can take up to 48 hours to get your property. Example: If you listed or sold it 2 hours ago, you probably won’t see it on your account.
- What you can do:
- Add property or link it manually to order your postcards (if you see that option)
- If it’s been longer than 3 days, contact Support
- Some companies have a delay on when they get your property to when it’s in your view (or when you get the email).
- Our data feed(s) doesn’t show your property is sold yet.
- What you can do:
- Try changing the property to Sold in Property Details (in TriggerMarketing). Then select Refresh on the Properties page. (You won’t get an MLS notification email if you do this, but you’d be able to order Sold postcards in TriggerMarketing).
- Add the property as a Sold property (if you’re able to)
- If it’s been longer than 3 days, contact Support
- New construction/vacant lot: Our data feeds only get properties that have a valid mailing address (via USPS) and are an actual home.
- What you can do:
- Since this property won’t appear in TriggerMarketing, to market this property now, try On-Demand Direct Mail (you can find it on the Start Page!).
- Property is under contract: we receive properties from many data feeds and each one can treat under contract differently.
- What to do:
- If you want to market this property as sold:
- Try changing the property to Sold in Property Details (in TriggerMarketing). Then select Refresh on the Properties page. (You won’t get an MLS notification email if you do this, but you’d be able to order Sold postcards in TriggerMarketing).
- Add the property as a Sold property (if you’re able to)
- Wait for property notification email
- If you want to send out ‘under contract’ postcards, try On-Demand Direct Mail (you can find it on the Start Page!)
- Cache issue: sometimes your browser needs cache to be cleared so you can see the most up to date content.
- What to do:
- Use the Refresh button on Properties page
- Clear your cache in your browser.
- Buyer’s agent: If you’re the buyer’s agent, the property may be connected to the listing agent.
- What to do:
- If you can, try linking the property to your account
- Add the property manually
Not getting property emails at all? Here’s what you can do:
- Check the Start page for TriggerMarketing
- Make sure you use the same email address for your MLS account and QuantumDigital
- For some company programs, you may need to go to Integrations in your profile (if it’s there), and make sure your MLS email is correct
- Check spam folder for the property emails
- Contact support
