# 'QR Code' - Type of Response

**_a response type._**

**General definition:** _shorthand for ‘Quick Response’ code,_ a machine-readable code consisting of an array of black and white squares, typically used for storing URLs or other information for reading by the camera on a smartphone.

**How we use it:** If enabled by your sponsoring brokerage/company, postcards will include a QR code on them as a response channel for prospects. Whenever a prospect engages with a QR code, we notify you of their response via an email. These responses are also viewable in our applications.
